Canon FT QL

It's been quite a while since I've made a full high-to-low, hard surface prop for my portfolio so I decided to make one based on my current hyperfixation. Film photography. It's modeled after the Canon FT QL manual SLR I have in my small camera collection. Most of the photos scattered in the scene were actually photos taken with the camera as well. The final model is just over 3k triangles.

All of the modeling was done using Blender. Textures were made using Substance Painter, with a little bit of Photoshop used to create alphas for all the text and symbols scattered on the camera and lens. Finally everything was put together into a small Unreal Engine 4 scene. I decided to give the glass of the lens a special material to give it a little depth when you look inside, so as a result it's not part of the main textures.
